We broke a blog rule

We re-read one of our posts last night and realized it stunk. So we deleted it. Isn't this against blog rules, in which stream-of-consciousness must be published with no turning back?

Looking at our revised blog, with the piece deleted forever, an icy chill spread in our heart. Our entire blog is just bits and bytes. All these thoughts are digital. The entire world of media is moving this way--so what happens if there is a gigantic hard drive crash and all digital media goes away?

Maybe that's what happened to the dinosaurs. After hundreds of millions of years, they moved everything, including their souls, online, and then the computers got wiped out.
