The UK media is abuzz that Google has retained Simon Fuller for help designing a new online video network. Fuller is more than just the chief exec of 19 Entertainment -- he's a legend at connecting media dots. He managed the Spice Girls to 53 million records, managed David Beckham to the world's highest-paid soccer contract, and managed the Pop Idol / American Idol franchise to a valuation above 2.5 billion dollars. Can't wait to see what he does with Google Video.
